For Pregnancy, Birth, Postpartum & Beyond

Perinatal Support

The perinatal season is one of the most profound transitions a person can experience. While it’s often portrayed as purely joyful, the reality can include anxiety, fear, overwhelm, identity shifts, birth trauma, sleep deprivation, and nervous-system exhaustion.

Hypnotherapy offers a gentle, powerful way to support you through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding—by working directly with the subconscious mind and regulating the nervous system at its core.

This work is not about “fixing” you.
It’s about supporting your body and mind in doing what they already know how to do—safely, calmly, and confidently.

How Hypnotherapy Supports the Perinatal Journey

Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation, focused attention, and subconscious re-patterning to help shift stress responses, release stored fear, and create new neural pathways rooted in safety and trust.

In perinatal care, this can help with:

  • Reducing anxiety, panic, and intrusive thoughts
  • Preparing the mind and body for birth
  • Processing previous birth trauma or medical trauma
  • Supporting postpartum mood, identity changes, and emotional regulation
  • Improving sleep and nervous-system recovery
  • Supporting breastfeeding, milk flow, and confidence
  • Releasing guilt, pressure, or unrealistic expectations around motherhood

Sessions are always trauma-informed, consent-based, and tailored to your unique experience.

Pregnancy Support

During pregnancy, hypnotherapy helps create a felt sense of safety within the body—especially important when fear, medical anxiety, or uncertainty are present.

Common focuses include:

  • Fear of birth or medical procedures
  • Anxiety around pregnancy outcomes
  • Connecting to your body and intuition
  • Trusting the natural rhythms of pregnancy
  • Preparing mentally and emotionally for labor and delivery

This work supports a calmer nervous system, which can positively influence both emotional wellbeing and the physical pregnancy experience.

Birth Preparation & Birth Trauma Support

Whether you are preparing for your first birth or integrating a previous one, hypnotherapy can help you feel empowered, grounded, and resourced.

Support may include:

  • Releasing fear stored from past birth experiences
  • Reframing traumatic or overwhelming memories
  • Preparing for birth with calm, confidence, and flexibility
  • Working with the subconscious around control, surrender, and trust
  • Creating a sense of agency regardless of how birth unfolds

Birth preparation is not about scripting an outcome—it’s about strengthening your inner sense of safety no matter what arises.

Postpartum Mental & Emotional Support

Postpartum is a time of immense change. Even when everything is “going well,” many parents experience emotional intensity, nervous-system overload, and a loss of self.

Hypnotherapy can support:

  • Postpartum anxiety and depression
  • Sleep deprivation and nervous-system fatigue
  • Emotional overwhelm or numbness
  • Identity shifts and role transitions
  • Processing the birth experience
  • Reconnecting with your body and sense of self

This is a space where you are held—not rushed, judged, or minimized.

Breastfeeding & Milk Flow Support

Breastfeeding is deeply connected to the nervous system. Stress, pressure, fear, or previous experiences can all impact milk flow and confidence.

Hypnotherapy may help with:

  • Relaxation and let-down response
  • Reducing anxiety around feeding
  • Releasing subconscious blocks to milk flow
  • Building trust in your body
  • Creating calm during feeding sessions

This work complements—not replaces—medical or lactation support and honors that feeding looks different for every family.

A Gentle, Integrative Approach

My work blends:

  • Clinical hypnotherapy principles
  • Nervous-system regulation
  • Mind-body connection
  • Compassionate perinatal care

All sessions are personalized and rooted in safety, autonomy, and respect for your lived experience.

You don’t need to “push through.”
You don’t need to have it all together.
You deserve support during one of the most transformational times of your life.
